Joined Texas Army National Guard to help with state disasters, get more years in, have a 2nd job, and to get back into college. Supported 13% of North Texas during the historical floods of 2007, Hurricanes, and Texas freezes. Along with Vehicle transfers, equipment trade ins. Once I dig out paper work will write more.

Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
Out of Ft. Worth Texas in B. Co. 949bsb, Under 56th BSBT, Under 36th ID, and Under 10th Sustainment Battalion. We left for Iraq under the impression of Convoy Security, and turned into FAB Security. As a 63S we were left with the task of getting all 118 vehicles back up to safety standards and operational conditions. To keep Gates secure.
