Detailed to Political Section of the U.S. Embassy, Iraq, in the Office of Constitutional and Legislative Affairs (CLA), created to focus U.S. governmental capacity-building efforts on the law-making dimension of the Rule of Law spectrum in Iraq. Worked with Iraqi national leaders to improve legislative process and help devise legislation solutions.

18 month unit mobilization to Fort Dix, NJ with 1079th Garrison Support Unit, operating the largest CONUS mobilization station in support of Operations Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) and Iraqi Freedom.
