Entered military service from Wheaton,Illinois on June 17 1955-Enlisted service till 1965 when I completed OCS and Airborne school,Ist assigmen,18 Airborne corps and 82nd Airborne Division.Two tours in Vietnam,Ist 101st Airborne,Ist Brigade 1st 327 Airborne Infantry Bn. Lt. Platoon leader and Company XO. 2nd tour Company comander,and Advisor to South Vietman forces in the Delta area of Vietnam. Schooling at Ft. Benning,Ga. 1970 and subsequent assignment to National Guard and Army Reserve in Illinois as Active Army Advisor. Served as Advisor toseveral Units,Infantry-Engineer-Training Bn. and others till retirement in 1975 and entry into civilian world after over 20yrs. in active Army.
