I served. In basic I was hit by lightning. I was deployed with my unit on the Mexico Arizona border. I was 18. We were protecting the country from the Russians. Soon after that I had a problem making it to drills. I had no money and no home. It was a 3 hour drive to get to drill. To many tardys was unacceptable and they separated me. I did serve though and I have an honorable discharge. I was disabled then but no one told me about getting help so I suffered for 20 years. A Vietnam veteran in 2010 told my to go to the va for help when I was 43.
Now I live on an insulin pump and I'm the owner of Dtrmoving.com
The va saved my life just in time. I was gonna die.
