Born, raised, and retired in Tacoma, WA. Still live in the same house dad bought 70+ years ago with his GI Bill after WW II and the Korean War. 80% service-connected disability.

Armor Crewman
Driver of platoon leader's M-551 Sheridan. Patrolled the West German border with Czechoslovakia. Involved in a huge explosion 07/25/74 in Inzendorf, Germany. Recommended for the Soldier's Medal by my platoon leader 1LT Andrew Stilley for saving SSG Warren Brow's life when he was on fire. No witnesses, so didn't get the medal. ETS'd while on the border at Camp Pitman.
