Wideband Communications 5 level trainee.
The shop was two AFSCs when I got there; Wideband (304x0) and Satcom. I got my 5 level in Wideband and then the AF combined our AFSCs (2E1x1). We answered the phone as Longhaul Comm, SHF Maint., Wideband, or Satcom.
The “deployments” to Poinsette Bombing Range were fun though. The Hog pilots would give us ratings on how well we camouflaged our site. We had an in house competition going on especially between the Ground Rats and ourselves. Great assignment.
