Born in the Midwest near Purdue University where my bio-dad was attending graduate school. First memories were living across the river from Portsmouth/Newington, New Hampshire in Eliot, Maine. Later moved to Portsmouth before attending school there.

During my 30-day post-deployment leave, traveled around Germany and visited Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Used the travel to improve my degraded language skills learning the difference between high German (hoch Deutsche) I had been taught and familiar (everyday) German speaking.
