Special Forces Engineer Sergeant
Served as an Engineer Sergeant on a Special Forces Operational Detachment-Alpha specializing in Maritime Operations; advised the Detachment Commander on construction and employment of conventional and improvised demolitions; conducted Foreign Internal Defense (FID), Direct Action (DA), Special Reconnaissance (SR) and Counter-Narcotics operations in support of USSOUTHCOM and CENTCOM objectives; trained, planned and supervised indigenous forces in light infantry tactics and explosives in English and Spanish; managed and maintained accountability of equipment in excess of $2 million; deployed to Afghanistan in 2015 in support of Resolute Support Mission II; deployed to Colombia twice in support of Counter-Narcotics.
