I was born in La Grande OR and relocated to NM in 1989. I graduated from Silver High School and following a brief attendance at NMSU I joined the US Air Force for a six year enlistment. After my separation I returned to Silver City to continue my education at WNMU and to raise my family. In 2013 I received his BAS in Criminal Justice and shortly after in 2016 my MBA.
