Military Experiences

Sep 1990 - Mar 1993
VMFA(AW)-224
Aviation Electrician (A6E), Maintenance Material Control
During my time with 224 I worked primarily in the Electric Shop Servicing the A6E aircrafts Electrical systems. When we were deployed to the first gulf war I was farmed out to the MP's for perimeter defense during the first three months returning just as the air war began. At that time we would review FLIR and assist in loads as needed while continuing to service the aircraft in our own capacity. We had a severely damaged aircraft we were rebuilding that took much of our time as well as assisting other units. All of this was done under extremely high pressure.
