USAF Aircraft Technician
I was assign to the flight line C97 Cargo and Troop transports. We did over haul of the complete Ac and all systems I was in a crew of six men assigned to one AC. It was our responsibility to keep it flying. There was no such thing as specialist then and we often spent up to 72 hours at tomes sitting on the ramp waiting for the fog to lift.to get the AC off on trip. Loved every bit of it..
