Born in Ozark, AL 5/24/1943. Son of a WWII PFC serving as support staff with the Tuskegee Airman. Grew up in MS graduating from a parochial HS in May ‘61, entered the Army after graduation. Served 26 + years. Served 5 years in Artillery & attended LPN Crs “67-“68. VN SVC ‘70-‘71. Military retirement 11/30/87. Employed by Atlanta Public Schools as the JROTC Opns NCO July ‘88-December’04 2003.
