Ground Directed Bombing and Electronics Counter Measures Operator
I basically had two AFSC's during my eight years of enlistment. First four years I was a Fuel's Specialist, refueling all USAF aircraft between 1968 and 1970 and then becoming a Missile Fuels Specialist from 1971 to 1973 at Vandenburg AFB working with Minuteman and Titan Missile propellants. Took a short 5 month break from Air Force, then in 1974 Air Force offered a reenlisted changing AFSC to Electronics spending a year in Technical School in Biloxi for Electronical Engineering. After technical school was assigned duty with SAC maintaining and operating Ground Radar providing scoring of B52 crews in bomb accuracy and electronic countermeasures scoring.
