Joined the Marines in 1972 right out of HS at 17 yrs old. Spent a 'pleasant summer' at PISC, then was a tank mechanic at 1st, 3rd and then 2nd Tanks, finishing off 5 1/2 yrs at the Stumps. Got off AD, served a couple yrs in the Army Guard while at Pitt, and then went Air National Guard. Maint Ops Supt & some years of HHQ inspector work. Retired shy of 35 yrs. Been goofing off since.
