My responsibilities were conducting material handling and transportation tasking in support of the Brigade, Battalion and the Company. My additional duty was the Assistant Platoon Sergeant. I was in 2 Missions in Turkey-for security detail and Material Handler NCOIC. And one mission in Romania for pallet building.

Assistant Operations Sergeant

241st Seaport Operations Company | JEB Little Creek-Fort Story, VA

My primary responsibilities were to discharge and load containerized cagro, wheeled and tracked vehicles in fixed seaports. I was instrumental in the deployment of 130 Soldiers in support of Operation Unified Response in Haiti. I served as the NCOIC for the Marshalling Area at Norfolk Naval Base where I was responsible for the reception, staging and upload of 250 pieces of rolling stock and 28 containers for Haiti. I considered deploying to Iraq for 15 months as an accomplishment.

My primary responsibilities were conducting Pre-Joint Inspections, planning of transportations matters, receipts, documentation and shipment of all cargo and rolling stocks processed through the Deployment Processing Center for Air, Land, Sea and Rail Movement. My additional duty was a HAZMAT 12 Certifier. My accomplishment while assigned in germany was deploying to Afghanistan.
