Adopted at 13 months, raised by good Lutheran couple, Jay and Carole McCoy. Joined the Navy at 16. After leaving the Navy, I served an apprenticeship as a machinist and grew career to journeyman Tool & Die Maker for 25 years. Disabilities prevented further work in that field and came to the VA for a desk job.
