Staff Sergeant Terrence Johns was born on February 1, 1993, in Gainesveille, GA. He enlisted in the Army Reserve on December 21, 2010. He attended Basic Combat Training (BCT) at Ft. Jackson, SC, and Advance Individual Training (AIT) at Ft. Eustis, VA. Upon completion of training, he was awarded the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 88H, Cargo Specialist. On September 9, 2024, he joined the Active Guard Reserve (AGR) Program. Staff Sergeant Johns was promoted to the rank of Sergeant on February 1, 2016, and the rank of Staff Sergeant on July 1, 2024.

EDUCATION: Staff Sergeant Johns Graduated from North Hall High School in Gainesville, GA and has an Associate’s Degree from Sonoran Desert Institute in Firearms Technology. His military education includes Basic Leadership Course, Rough Terrain Container Handler, Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck, Army Combat Life Saver, Bus Driver Course (52 PAX), Army Substance Abuse Program, Unit Prevention Leader Course, Physical Security Officer, Army Training Requirements and Resources System, Equal Opportunity Leaders Course.
