LTC William F. Morris entered the Army as a Private in December 1984 as an M60A3 Armor Crewman and was assigned to a unit as a traditional drilling National Guardsman. He served in various tank crew positions until he attended Officer Candidate School in 1995. He's served as an Armor and Cavalry Officer in positions from Tank Platoon Leader and Company Commander to Cavalry Squadron Commander
