Technical Control Officer with responsibility to interpret, select, adapt and apply numerous guidelines, precedents, principles and practices which relate to the development of tactical communications systems. Review installations to ensure compliance with DISA and Navy standards.

Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
Senior Watch Officer 6th Communication Battalion – Developed SOP for Battalion Tactical Operations Center in order to de-conflict roles and responsibilities as our network was integrated into a larger communication node. Utilized experience as an ISO-9001 auditor to perform root-cause analysis and develop corrective actions which were documented and modified through the corrective action process. Prior to this SOP, multiple units were implementing system changes causing network outages. The SOP unified the change process and eliminated outages. Awarded Navy Commendation Medal as result of these efforts.

Operation Desert Shield/Storm
Served as liaison to Saudi Telephone Company in Al-Jubal during operation Desert Shield & Storm. Personally interfaced with host nation representatives for all commercial phone service in the Marine Corps AO. Recommended for promotion to Warrant Officer as a direct result of superior performance of duties (March 1991), promoted to Warrant Officer 1 Nov 1991.
