Went delayed enlistment in the Corps on 4 Apr 75, went to boot camp MCRD SD on 15 Aug 75. First duty station was MarBar Norfolk VA Naval Correctional Facility. Stayed 10 years at many other duty stations got out E6. Joined the Army in 85 went to FT Hood 2/7 Cav stayed in for another 10 and retired in 95. Went to Iraq for Gulf I with C Co. 2/187 Rockasans 101st Air Assault out of Fort Campbell KY

Flight Operations Chief

1st MAW | Marine Corp Air Station Iwakuni Japan

While stationed with MCAS Iwakuni we went to Korea for Operation Team Spirit and I got to play Flight Operations Chief at the ROK Air Base we were using. While in the Army I was on the Special Ops Team that helped escort all the chemical weapons out of Germany in 90 after the wall fell. Spent three years with NATO Corps HQ Allied Forces Northern Europe Oslo Norway with duty in Rendsburg Germany
