Private E-2, the Jump Masters during JMPI asked me if it felt right, checked my static line and sent me off to the UH-60. I was pushing 20 jumps that day, felt comfortable, knew my stuff, and they knew it. We popped 6 that day, "elevator rides", aka non-tactical fun jump. That was a couple of months before the Army decided that any soldier could do a Pathfinders job and disbanded us. The truth is, we did the missions that no one else had any idea what to do, we did not either but figured it out and got it done.
