I served 23 years in the military (Retired 8/15) starting in the US Coast with 8 years active duty. I left the USCG in 2000 and lateraled into the US Navy reserve as an EO with the Seabees. In my cilvilian life I am a Firefighter Captain with Las Vegas Fire & Rescue. I've been with LVFR since 10/2000 mostly downtown in battalion one. I have instructed three fire academies graduating 76 recruits.

Equipment Operators perform tasks involving deployment and operation of automotive, materials handling, weight handling and construction equipment. Direct and coordinate efforts of individuals and crews in execution of construction, earthmoving, road-building, quarrying, water well, asphalt batching and paving, concrete batch plant operations, concrete paving and transit mixer operation assignments. Maintain records and reports on mobile and stationary equipment and organize and supervise automotive and construction equipment pools.
