Information Systems Management Officer

Led team of 5 members responsible for all SBSS, SATS, AMS, small computer, hardware, software, and peripheral needs for the unit. Served as Information Assurance Officer, ADPE Custodian, CST, TCO, server administrator, etc.

LRS Administrator

18 LRS, 18 MSG, 18 FW, 5th AF | Kadena AB, Japan

First 4 years were spent as NCOIC, Small Computer Support then I was hand selected to be the sole IT administrator in the newly formed Logistics Readiness Center, which was an idea put into application by our Commander. We were the C4 for the unit, operating 24/7/365. It was comprised of hand selected experts from each LRS function, the unit UDMs, and myself as the "computer guy". We were the nerve-center for the unit. We provided all exercise and real-world direction up/down/laterally, had oversight of all LRS activities, SIPR/NIPR connectivity at each desk, kept leadership informed before/during/following typhoons, and any other pertinent data required by leadership.
