Spent much of career working outside my AFSC. 3 years on Honor Guard/Search and Recovery, 2 years on the Mobility team at Lowry AFB. Won the John L. Levitow Award in my NCO Prep Class. At Lajes AB, selected as the USFORAZ NCO of the Year (included Army and Navy NCOs). Supported Desert Shield and Storm at Lajes but not in country. By-name selection to go to HQ AMC at Scott AFB.
