non-rated, had planned to strike for RP (Religious Personnel) to work in Chaplain's office.
assigned to cargo unit on the James River, learned basic seamanship duties, basically unskilled labor jobs. (Chipping & repainting rusted ship; minimal cargo training).
Discharged for fraudulent enlistment due to sexual identity crisis. (I never stated I was gay, only that I desperately wanted NOT to be & wanted help to change my desires & orientation; to my superiors, that was the same as an admission of guilt!)
