Served as Strategic Planner to the Army G-3/5/7 on all Army initiatives group and congressional matters. Independently plans, designs and accomplishes assignments, identifying and applying methods and techniques to resolve problems, to coordinate with other activities as required, and to take an appropriate course of action.

Deputy Director of Legislative Affairs to the Commander, Resolute Support / United States Forces - Afghanistan forward deployed in support of Operation Freedom's Sentinel. Serves as an advisor to the Commander for all Congressional matters. Conducts routine engagement and correspondence with Members of Congress and key Congressional staff from leadership offices and defense oversight committees. Routinely coordinates and operates in conjunction with the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, U.S. Central Command, Office of Management and Budget, Department of State, and the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives in order to advance the military campaign.

Primary Military Staff Analyst responsible to support the interests of 62 Members of Congress from the states of California, Nevada, Hawaii, Guam and Northern Mariana Islands. Primary responsibilities (to the US Army) in this role consist of outreach and assisting Members with constituent inquiries and informational briefings on Army programs and policy issues in order to educate Member’s and staff.
