Recent Activity  -

Military Experiences

Mar 2004 - Mar 2006
A6
Directors Action Group Superintendant
I'm now working for (Brig General Ret.) then Colonel Steven J Spano. My responsibilities included everything the Captain didn't. Col Spano and then Lt. Col (now Colonel) Micheal Borgert retired me. Mike was my supervisor back in the U/TASC before I left. Great Officer and now friend. I requested, and was granted, permission to "Exit the Net"
Feb 2001 - Mar 2004
USAFE C2 Communications Manager
I'm now responsible for writing policy and instructions for the operation of all NC2 communications systems for every Command Post in USAFE. And I also stand watch with some highly skilled Command Post Controllers who make me part of them. Highlight of my career was standing watch on 9-11, the most intense and fulfilling time in my life. I had trained long enough, had been through Gulf One, now it's different, time to help make the US and the world safe.
Feb 1996 - Feb 2001
Engineering and Installations Team Chief
I stumble upon another group of consummate professionals. Worked as the team member then team chief installing communications from HF/UHF/VHF/SHF to LAN & Secure Comm systems all over the East coast with a small journey back to the AOR to help the Saudi's get some circuits up between defense radar sites. Endured two small hurricanes (anything is small after Andrew) and then got the assignment my wife and I were looking for - Europe and somewhere along the way I made E-5 TSgt
Feb 1995 - Feb 1996
607 CBCS
Team Chief Tactical Communications
Still in Mobile TACS, but now I have a dedicated crew and van, and now I'm on the base that was the best kept secret of the Air Force. The only Air Force (245 or so) on a base with 5000+ Army, we were invisible. Still deploying in tents and seeing every inch of the country with a great crew of guys.
