I am the Director of the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs, the statewide advocate for our veterans and their families’ earned benefits and services. I was born in Puerto Rico and served 22 years on active duty retiring as the CSM of Madigan Army Medical Center and Troop Command, Joint Base Lewis McChord. I love my job in Serving Those Who Served, my agency motto!
