Graduated from US Naval Academy, served in submarines, destroyers, service force ships, aviation battle group and fleet staffs, and retired after 23 years. Billets included engineering, operations, weapons, ship & aircraft readiness, technical and damage control training, and my greatest love: ship handling. Served in every major ocean and sea.
