I am the First Sergeant for Alpha Troop 1-303rd CAV with an assigned strength of 98 Soldiers in which I am responsible for the Troop’s supervision, readiness, efficiency, discipline, management, morale and accountability. The 1SG is the senior enlisted leader, trainer and spokesperson that enforce established policies and standards for enlisted Soldiers pertaining to performance, care, conduct, appearance, effective personnel utilization and management and training; and ensure that subordinate NCOs do the same. I am a firm supporter in the Family Readiness Group (FRG) as I believe taking care of my Soldiers and their Families is vital. This is my 3rd First Sergeant position and have 25 years of service, I've acquired many skills and techniques in the leadership and supervisory arenas.
