Gunner
As the senior E-4 & an experienced gunner from a previous tour, I had the responsibility of looking out for the younger gunners. I ensured that all weapons were maintained, ammo was accounted for, & that the other gunners in our CET were proficient with their weapon systems, whether .50 cal, SAW, or M240. In the beginning I was given the position of gunner for the pace truck, then moved up to 2nd Scout truck.
