Operations Officer
USCG operational advisor to USN expeditionary multi-service Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron (MSRON) in support of the Naval Expeditionary Combatant Command (NECC). Responsible for planning and execution of current and future operations and for training mission readiness of hardware-equipped anti-terrorism force protection unit tasked with manning, training, and equipping more than 700 personnel across four companies, two high value unit escort detachments, and headquarters staff elements for worldwide expeditionary missions.

I assist in the development of capacity building agendas, proposals, and training materials. Managed domestic vessel inspections, port state control, and bringing uninspected towing vessels, uninspected passenger vessels, and commercial fishing vessels into compliance with regulations. Coordinated & served the second largest passenger vessel fleet in the 1st Coast Guard District with over 280 vessels serving 5 million people annually. Supervised repairs in regional shipyards, dry-docking activities for steel, aluminum, fiberglass, & wood construction vessels. Maintained rigorous inspections of high-capacity ferries in operation throughout the Northeast. Administered Marine Inspector training & qualification. Managed $130K budget.
