USS Ohio (SSGN-726), SUBRON 19, SUBGRU 9, COMSUBPAC | Bangor, WA

Actually it was SSBN-726 when I was aboard. I was on the Gold crew then I got short cycled to the Blue crew. I did 5 patrols, 1 Steam Generator Inspection and 1 DHR installation. The SG inspection and DHR installation was the first time ever done on a Trident sub. Fun was had by all. Got it done early, under budget and didn't break anything else.

NorPac '87, Decommisiong Crew. It was kind of unsettling to watch and be a part of tearing a sub apart. I did get to order aboandon ship one day in the shipyard. That was novel.
