NCOIC Senior Instructor Opposing Forces
This was my third tour in Korea and my second assignment to HHC 2X G-2. Senior Instructor for the Opposing Forces Team. The 2nd Div. OPFOR Team's mission was to instruct Warriors of the 2nd ID, along with Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Air Force stationed in Korea of the threat that the U.S. Military faces from the North Korean military. Various classes were given on nKorea's strengths and weaknesses, tactics and strategy, equipment and training. Training also included familiarization of weapons and equipment used by the North Korean's Peoples Army, through classroom, range live fire exercises and deployment field exercises. The team also had four Soviet made vehicles for training and familiarization: T-55 Tank, BTR-152 APC, BTR-60 APC, and Gaz-69 Truck with the Sagger missile system.

G-2 Driver / Opposing Forces Team
My second tour in Korea. Originally selected from the Turtle Farm to act as the Division's G-2's Driver and RTO. I performed this for the first half of this 2 year tour along with various intelligence duties while taking 96B (MI Analyst), courses. During field exercises I would be either deployed with the Division TAC or Main HQ collecting intelligence, preparing maps and briefings, radio operator, along with any driving duties. During my second half of the tour I was assigned to the Division's Opposing Forces Team as an instructor giving classes on the nKorean threat, tactics and strategy, equipment and training. Training also included familiarization of weapons and equipment used by the North Korean's Peoples Army, through classroom, range live fire exercises and field exercises.
