Network Infrastructure Technician
While stationed at the United States Air Force Academy, I was responsible for: coordination of new and upcoming projects, troubleshooting and maintaining a $15 Million dual Campus Area Networks (CAN) to include separated military and educational networks, Configure and deploy multilayer network routers and switches. During my tour, I was involved in projects, to include: Military/EDU network split, troubleshooting over 1500 trouble calls a year, Cisco upgrade to legacy systems based across the network, military briefings on current projects, US Air Force Academy Graduation events, and Corona. As a network engineer, I maintained, troubleshot, configured, and deployed Cisco network equipment across the two CAN’s.

Network Infrastructure Technician
While stationed at Keesler AFB, MS, I was a team lead, supervisor, and trainer. I was in charge of the Network installation and cable maintenance team. I directly supervised four technicians and provided; feedback, counseling, and evaluation on performance. As a network engineer at this installation, I was responsible for: installation and deployment of new networking hardware, troubleshooting of network issues, and configuration and management of a multi-million dollar US military network. Projects that I was a part of where: Complete network upgrade from a Marconi ATM token ring network to a new Cisco Gig E technology backbone for the base network. This new upgrade increased the network performance to over 120%.
