Good Friend of USMC Major Kurt Chew Een Lee, Recipient Navy-Cross Just returned from his Services at Arlington National on Tues. Sept. 30 2014.
My last C/o was MOH Recipient Col. Archie Van Winkle who Served along-side of Major Kurt Lee in Korea, Inchon , Chosin Reservoir. Colonel Van Winkle was Provost Marshal MP's Camp Pendleton in 1972, I was Dispatcher with the MP's when I met the Colonel.
My Father and the Colonel attended the same Radio-Gunner School in 1942. For that reason the Colonel and I shared a few cups of Coffee and many Conversations.
