Just over 12 years as Navy Journalist (broadcast specialty). Worked as local disc jockey, then local newspaper editor for several years. Changed career paths and started working in computer field. Started work with County of Roscommon as GIS specialist. Eventually created local area network and became MIS Director for whole county. Lovin' life.

Public relations and media relations for recruiting district and associated recruiting stations. Worked on three separate ship visits to Houston and Galveston area, including participating in Galveston Mardis Gras parade with crew of USS Pegasus (PH-1).

Provide information, training and entertainment to crew via CCTV system. Ran shipboard Welfare and Recreation Program. Planned local tours for crew in foreign ports.

Started out as News Director and on-air anchor for half-hour evening news program. Moved to Program Director later. Volunteered time on radio station, also. Supervised small news crew to gather and edit news stories and produce complete newscast with news, weather and sports to audience of about 7,000 residents.
