Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) - Afghanistan
Served as RNCC Battle NCO for RC-S while assigned as SATCOM OPS NCO for B Co, 57th ESB, 11th SIG BDE. Returned to Kandahar almost 12 years later and found the place almost completely unrecognizable. This is the one which finally screwed me up.

Still SATCOM OPS NCO for 589th SIG CO, but brigade was reflagged as 170th BCT. Ran communications for a huge chunk of RC-N, centered on Mazar-i-Sharif and based at Camp Mike Spann.

Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
Served as SATCOM OPS NCO for 589th SIG CO, 2BDE 1AD. First taste of NETOPS and re-entry into tactical communications in the JNN era. Located at Camp Stryker, supported communications for the Baghdad area.

Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) - Afghanistan
Served as an operator for an AN/TSC-85D from B Co, 86th SIG BN, 11th SIG BDE out of Ft Huachuca. Provided communications in support of 3BDE 101ABN. Located at Kandahar on the back of the original airport terminal building.
