Pretty easy actually.
Find the enemy Call in support if needed. If not( It's a Cav thing)
Put him in my sights,and send him to meet the God of His/Her understanding.
Seriously, Find.tack,and kill the enemy using everything from missiles, small arms,heavy weapon's, armor or air support.
If no ones home when we show up, We destroy everything they cherished and mine/frag/remote c4/ect for when they do come back.
In W.Ger as Arnored Cav we were speed bumps to slow down the Russian Horde that was gonna rip thru Europe. We were to take as many as we could to Hell with us.
If we had a hole,We were gonna blast thru it and counter attack.....but ummm,errr, I've seen it when the balloons gone up,and Everything,Ours Theirs would be destroyed in the first 3 1/2 mins of shooting and Arty

Here's where My coming of age began. I hit Swampy a 17yr old Ass-Kicker,made by one each DrillSgt.Miles and company back at Disneyland Ft.Knoxs
Being the youngest,and smallest guy in our Plt, they made me a 60 gunner(when dismounted) and TOW 2 Missile system loader on an M901ITV.
Thru promotion and attrition I eventually became Our Sqd Ldr/Fire Team Ldr. I held the position until We got a real NCO with real stripes to relieve this Full-Bird Pvt.
Then I PCS'd to 8th ID and my new home and true Cav work, 3/8 Cav W.Ger
We were RECON. I think that says it all.
