Deployed as part of a Team supporting ARCENT in conducting foreign military cooperation and interfacing with foreign militaries and governments in the region. Was sent to work with the 5th fleet during the Arab Spring.

Iraq, FOB Falcon
Civil Military Affairs Operations Center Chief in support of 1st BDE, 1st Armored Division on FOB Falcon during the surge. Too many EFPs! Engaged with the Baladia Chief (Public Works Director) in Al Rashid and Al Dora Districts. They were essentially running warfare by sewage and/or electricity between the Sunnis and Shias.

Afghanistan - Kandahar Provincial Reconstruction Team
CAT A Team Leader for the Kandahar PRT. Traveled to and engaged villages in remote areas in Kandahar Provinces. Built many agricultural, water, education, medical, programs and projects. Had about 30 former Mujahideen as my security force. Spent time with French and Dutch forces in Spin Boldak and Registan.
