Bio
I was with the USMCR from 1982-1986. After boot camp at Parris Island, and Infantry School at Camps Geiger and Lejeune, I was briefly attached to the 2nd MEU before heading to my reserve unit, 4th Div, 25th Marines, 3rd Battalion, I Company. I was a rifleman and the Radio Operator for Captain Smith's 3rd Platoon. I twice to deployed to Norway, and served in a massive arctic exercise, Teamwork 84.

Teamwork '84
Teamwork '84, was, at the time, the largest amphibious landing exercise ever conducted in the Arctic. We landed at Tromso, Norway, and moved through the Arctic towards Narvik. We were 300 miles above the Arctic Circle, average temperature was -32!
I am officially a "Bluenose" for crossing the Arctic Circle by ship, the USS Lamoure County.
