I enlisted in 1988 under Security Forces since I had to be 21 to be an MP and I just turned 18. I was stationed in Sasebo Japan for 1.5 years and then came to Camp Pendleton to serve with 1/7 and then 2/7 as a Mortarman. i was later deployed to the Middle East for Operation Dessert Shield/Storm and then came back to mainland when it was all over. Left the service in 1992.
