Bio
I joined the Army just 2 weeks after my 18th birthday. Once I retired I moved to AZ for just a few years. Loved it there. I worked a little as a AT&T directory assistance operator. A few years into being there and being very happy, my wife decided she wanted to go back to school in Alabama for another degree. Now I'm trying to sell my Alabama home so I get the hell out of here and move west.

Motor transport operator
I started off as a M915 driver for the 533rd Transportation and the 104th Transportation when the unit was rebranded. We made a couple of trips to North Carolina and I got to spend one summer with the Army Marksmanship Unit. It was a blast! Then I was transferred to the 361st TTD where I operated a yard dog. When Haiti came around, I used the yard dog to load conex trailers onto C5 Galaxies. It was a incredible to back our big trucks up the nose ramp and right down inside the belly of the beast. That lasted for several days and was a 24 hour a day job. One plane would get all its cargo and then the next one would come in and we'd start the process over. I never deployed or served over seas. I'm still bummed about that.
