I retired as a member of the Delaware Army National Guard. From 1990 to 2000, I was a one weekend a month Signal Soldier. From 2000-2013 I accepted a fulltime position for the Delaware Army National Guard. As a Supply Management Specialist for the Director of Logistics. From 1992-2013 I was a Signal Officer 1 weekend a month and 2 weeks a year with an OIF tour 2008-2009 serving in BDE OPS section

I worked for the Joint Forces Headquarters Operations Directorate as the Training Aides Devices Simulators and Simulations Division Chief. Our mission was to provide weapons, convoy, and fire simulated training in a classroom environment. Combined we trained thousands of Soldiers in these disciplines.

I was the Assistant Operations Officer for a Brigade Headquarters. We managed the operations and training for ourselves and as many as two battalions. Deployed to Iraq where we managed the communications assets in support of 60 plus out-sites, with limited down time to our customer. Another accomplishment was developing and implementing an (in-state) exercise to deploy our peace time units in support of a state of emergency. I served as the Brigade Logistics Officer responsible for all aspects of supply, food service, maintenance and transportation management. I ensured standards were met and regulatory policies were adhered to. I served as the Brigade Systems Control Officer responsible for displaying the status of the Brigade’s communications network.
