I was with delta co. 3rd LAR In Iraq, alpha co. In Afghanistan .....no straight combat.... Just a lot of IED's A couple pop shots and that's it, I spent the majority of my time in Iraq outside the wire, in the desert around the sinjar mountains. Afghanistan was much deferent in that regard, we were more localized in our mission. My last billet was a vc for our QRF plt.
