Contributed to the successful evacuation of 58 victims of the 1993 Somali attack on the United States military personnel and 98 victims of the 1994 Sarajevo marketplace bombing, as well as to the execution of the humanitarian relief effort to beleaguered Rwandan refugees. Established an aeromedical evacuation detachment and authored the necessary operating instructions for a smooth transition and coordinated all logistical requirements while relocating from Rhein-Main , to Ramstein Air Base, Germany.As a member of the Command Battle Staff during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, provided the Command Surgeon accurate and up-to-date information on all aeromedical evacuation matters. Managed personnel transportation and rotation issues supporting United Nations efforts in Bosnia.
