I entered the US Army in August 1978 as a Tactical Field Wireman. Army Comms Specialist does not translate well into civilian employment unless you specialize in IT or automations. I served in every Enlisted leadership position multiple times including Team Ldr, Squad Ldr, Platoon Sgt, COMSEC Supervisor, 1SG, Operations Sgt, Bn Ops SGM, and BN CSM. I am currently medically retired in Killeen, TX.
