Bio 

Since retiring, I completed my BA in Psychology and then took a position as an Investigator in Randolph County, NC, Child Protective services as an Investigator. I then became the Supervisor of a Unit, supervising 5 Investigators and managing their training. Before returning to college, I had also worked in Walmart as a Loss Prevention Specialist and then as a Department Manager in Sporting Goods. After Navy Worked at WalMart then decided to further education by completing BA. Went to work for Randloph County in Child Protection Services as Investigator Social WOrker. Promoted to Supervisor and retired after completion of career in that field, Currently retired but looking for challenges.

Command Master Chief
Senior Enlisted Manager responsible for over 400 personnel at HQ as well as the three subordinate commands at Brunswick, Maine; Cherry Point, NC; and Jacksonville, FL. In addition to duties as CMC also reviewed and updated curriculum as needed for SERE School (Maine) as well as conducting semi-annual visits to each outlying site of the command.

USS Anzio (CG 68)
Command Master Chief
Assigned to Precom Unit Anzio and established all customs and traditions upon which Anzio Sailors have proceeded from that time to present. Along with the Commanding officer wrote all ships Instructions and Notices, established the Ships Surface Warfare Programs, and set the standards for the Officers and Chiefs to emulate. Ensured a smooth transition of the ship from the shipyard to Navy. Once in our hands began full training of US Navy Crew resulting in Anzio's first Battle "E" soon after commissioning. Deployed for Workup in GITMO, then Fleet Week, East Cost and Carib Cruise.

Test Directior/Command Master Chief
Operational Test Director - Submarine Communications Systems. Prepared and staffed all tests on various classified systems and coordinated tests involving Trident Submarines and various Surface and Airborne Assets of the Atlantic and Pacific Fleets. Command Master Chief for over 200 personnel. Liaison between military staff and civilian staff ensuring a smooth flow of communications and resources.

Command Senior/Master Chief
Initially assigned as Leading Senior Chief of the Electronics Shop, reassigned as Command Senior Chief when the Commanding Officer was relieved and the Command Master Chief retired without relief. When selected for advancement to MCPO Commanding Officer requested that I become the permanent CMC and was appointed by BUPERS. Took over and was assigned the NEC by BUPERS. Became CMC of the ship with a Navy Crew of 465 and Marine Complement of over 1000 when fully loaded. Saw the ship through a yard period, workup for deployment, Gitmo for Reftra, Carib Cruise, Med Cruise, & another Carib Cruse
