I working g or the VA for 34 years. I been a supervisor for 25 years. I joined the NY Army National Guard in 84 I was in a scout platoon 1O1 Cav. Then in 98 i went to the Famous Fighting 69th Infantry. 1-69th Infantry. My unit was the first military unit to respond at ground zero in NYC.. Then in 2004 i was i IOF 3. I did over 260 combat patrols. As a E-6 in a infantry recon platoon.

I was a E-6 in a Recon platoon in an infantry unit. My platoon and I did over 260 combat patrols. In Taji Iraqi and Baghdad. We also patroled route Irish (airport road) in Baghdad. We had 3 KIA in my platoon 5 wounded. I had to MOS 19D30 reconize specialists and 11B30 Squad leader infantrymen.

I was station at camp cooke in Taji. Then in Jan 2005 I was station in camp victory. My infantry scout platoon did over 200 combat missions. We patroled Airport Road (Route Irish) My unit was the 1-69th Infantry. Taskforce Wolfhound. We had 19 kIA and 72 wounded. The scout platoon lost 3 men. RIP. My unit was the first military unit at ground zero
