I entered the North Carolina Army National Guard in 2008, nine days after turning 18. After completion of high school I shipped to Fort Knox, KY for BCT on 29 July 2009. I then arrived at the 42nd AG BN for reception and later placed into D Co 1/46 Inf for BCT. After completion on BCT I was shipped to Fort Leonardwood and placed in 02 Truck, A Co 58th Trans Bn. Then assigned to 1451st TC, Boone NC
